UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup Returns to Longmont

In February 2025, Colorado will host the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup in Longmont, marking the event's return to the U.S. for the first time since 2019. Scheduled for February 22-23, the competition will coincide with WinterFest, featuring family-friendly activities and local vendors. Approximately 150 elite ice climbers will compete for lead and speed titles at this fifth event in a series spanning three continents. Meanwhile, Revelstoke Mountain Resort is set to host the IFSA World Tour Qualifier on January 22, offering $10,000 in prize money for freeriders. Additionally, the Colorado Avalanche will hold a ski and snowboard-themed game on January 20, benefiting U.S. Ski and Snowboard while offering fans a chance to meet athletes post-game. These events highlight Colorado's vibrant winter sports scene, attracting both participants and spectators.
