Volkswagen Previews Electric ID.Cross SUV, Hybrid T-Roc for 2026 Launch

Volkswagen showcased several key new models and technologies at the 2025 Munich Motor Show, including the ID. Cross concept, a small electric SUV set to launch in mid-2026, featuring the MEB+ platform with a predicted 260-mile range and a 108mph top speed. The ID. Cross preview reflects VW's new 'Pure Positive' design language and highlights practical elements like a 450-litre boot and 25-litre frunk, emphasizing its near-production readiness. VW also announced the second-generation T-Roc SUV, which will introduce full hybrid technology in 2026, marking the company's shift from mild hybrids to full hybrids similar to the Toyota Prius system, and will offer advanced driver assistance features. Alongside these, VW revealed the sporty ID Buzz GTX, a mini-van with a dual-motor setup delivering 335bhp, faster acceleration, and enhanced towing power, designed to blend style, practicality, and comfort.
