Man Arrested After Car Rams Russian Consulate Gates Sydney

A man was arrested after driving a car through the gates and onto the grounds of the Russian consulate in Woollahra, Sydney. Police attempted to speak with the driver of the suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway, but he drove through the gates and onto the property. The vehicle came to rest near a Russian flagpole, and the man, aged 39, was taken into custody and is cooperating with authorities. A 24-year-old police constable sustained a hand injury during the incident and was treated by paramedics. No other injuries have been reported. Police continue to investigate the matter.
