Grantchester to End With Eleventh Season in 2026

Grantchester, the acclaimed British period crime drama based on James Runcie’s novels, will conclude after its 11th season, as confirmed by ITV and PBS Masterpiece. Filming for the final season begins in July 2025, with a premiere expected in 2026. Robson Green will reprise his role as Detective Inspector Geordie Keating, joined by Rishi Nair as vicar Alphy Kottaram and other familiar cast members. The last season, set in the summer of 1963, will explore themes of family, forgiveness, identity, and faith, as key characters face significant life decisions and transitions.
