Hilton Q1 Profit Rises, Boosts 2025 Guidance
Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. reported first-quarter 2025 adjusted earnings per share of $1.72, beating analyst expectations, while revenue of $2.7 billion was slightly below estimates. Net income rose to $300 million ($1.23 per share), up from $265 million ($1.04 per share) a year earlier. System-wide revenue per available room (RevPAR) grew by 2.5% year-over-year, reflecting continued demand despite weaker macroeconomic conditions. The company opened 186 hotels with a net addition of 155 and expanded its development pipeline to 3,600 hotels totaling 503,400 rooms. Hilton raised its full-year 2025 adjusted EPS guidance to $7.76–$7.94 and expects RevPAR to be flat to up 2% compared to 2024. The company returned $927 million to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends, though its share price has underperformed the broader market year-to-date.
