The court examined details such as the length and type of Cardi's nails, with Cardi explaining the differences between glued-on tips and acrylics. Testimonies from the obstetrician and a receptionist supported Cardi’s defense, stating they witnessed Ellis acting aggressively and causing injuries to the receptionist, without seeing Cardi hit Ellis.
