Wyndham Opens Ramada Hotels in Kathmandu, Bhairahawa

Buddha Regency Private Limited (BRPL) has partnered with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to open a new Ramada by Wyndham hotel next to Gautam Buddha International Airport in Siddharthanagar, Nepal, expected to launch by 2025. The hotel will feature 100 rooms and various amenities aimed at enhancing the local hospitality experience. Concurrently, Akama Hotel Limited has opened the Ramada by Wyndham Kathmandu Dhumbarahi, located just 5 kilometers from Tribhuvan International Airport, featuring 108 rooms with Tibetan and Newari influences. This hotel offers a range of amenities, including dining options, wellness facilities, and meeting spaces, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Dimitris Manikis, President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA, emphasized the significance of this expansion, which aims to combine local culture with modern hospitality standards. These developments reflect a growing trend in Nepal's hospitality sector, aiming to attract more international tourists and boost the local economy.
