Renault Group executes major leadership restructuring
Renault Group, under new CEO François Provost, has initiated significant leadership restructuring to accelerate growth and enhance organizational agility. Fabrice Cambolive, retaining his role as CEO of the Renault brand, has been appointed to a newly created position of Chief Growth Officer, overseeing both Renault and Dacia brands and steering international expansion focusing on markets such as India, Latin America, and Korea. Katrin Adt, with extensive experience from Mercedes-Benz, has been appointed CEO of Dacia, reporting directly to Cambolive and joining the Group's Leadership Team. Additionally, Philippe Brunet was named Chief Technology Officer to lead engineering efforts for Renault Group and its electric vehicle subsidiary Ampere, aiming to streamline innovation and development execution. These changes reflect a strategic move to unify brand management while preserving individual brand identities and improve coordination across various functions including product planning, quality, procurement, and manufacturing. Provost emphasized the need for faster decision-making, smarter execution, and closer customer engagement to meet future challenges.
