Danone U.S. Recalls YoCrunch Yogurt Nationwide Over Plastic Pieces

Danone U.S. has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of all YoCrunch yogurt products due to the potential presence of small, transparent plastic pieces in the dome toppers, which could pose a choking hazard or cause cuts. The recalled products include all flavors and sizes currently available at retail stores, with toppings such as Oreos, M&Ms, granola, cookie dough, Snickers, and Twix. The plastic fragments, measuring between 7mm and 25mm, were discovered following consumer complaints, and the issue is isolated solely to the separately packaged toppers, not the yogurt itself. Danone is actively working with retail partners and the FDA to remove the affected items from store shelves and is offering refunds through its consumer care line. Consumers are advised not to consume any YoCrunch products currently on the market and to dispose of any they have purchased. The recall affects products with expiration dates ranging from July to September 2025.
