Sunnyvale Police Seek Armed Suspect in Fatal Shooting

A 40-year-old man was fatally shot Thursday evening at a residence on the 900 block of South Wolfe Road in Sunnyvale. Authorities believe the victim and the suspect, Jesus Aguilera, 44, of Sunnyvale, knew each other, though the motive for the shooting remains unclear. Aguilera has been identified as the primary suspect and is considered armed and dangerous. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office is withholding the victim’s identity until next of kin are notified.
