This product marks Tyson's first compliance with Colorado's 2017 ban, which was designed to prevent children's confusion with candy. Previously, Tyson's ear-shaped gummies, known as Mike Bites, referenced his infamous bite of Evander Holyfield's ear during a 1997 fight, but faced restrictions in multiple markets. Tyson stated that these new gummies reflect his commitment to innovation and connecting with fans. The launch is accompanied by a giveaway contest tied to an upcoming fight between Tyson and Jake Paul. Tyson 2.0 has been selling other cannabis products in Colorado since 2021 and aims to expand its market presence further.
