Sophia Hutchins Dies From Multiple Injuries in Malibu ATV Crash

Sophia Hutchins, a close friend and manager of Caitlyn Jenner, died at age 29 after a fatal ATV accident near Jenner's Malibu home on July 2, 2025. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner listed her official cause of death as multiple blunt force injuries, with the incident ruled an accident. According to investigators, Hutchins was speeding when she struck the rear bumper of a moving Mazda, which caused her ATV to veer off the road and fall approximately 350 feet down a ravine, resulting in her immediate death at the scene. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Sergeant Eduardo Saucedo explained that Hutchins was not following the car but likely came up on it quickly and unsuccessfully tried to maneuver around it. Hutchins, who appeared on Jenner's I Am Cait docuseries and managed her business and philanthropic efforts, was described by Jenner as her 'best friend, family and confidant.'
