Jack Doohan Joins Alpine F1 Team in 2025

Jack Doohan, son of five-time motorcycle world champion Mick Doohan, will join the Formula 1 grid in 2025 as a driver for Alpine, replacing Esteban Ocon who is moving to Haas. The 21-year-old Australian has been Alpine's reserve driver since 2023 and will partner Pierre Gasly. This marks the first time since 1976 that Australia could have three drivers in F1 concurrently, depending on Daniel Ricciardo retaining his seat. Doohan, a rising star with notable performances in Formula 3 and Formula 2, will make his F1 debut at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix.
