Mitch Evans made Formula E history by winning the Sao Paulo E-Prix from last place on the grid, marking a record-equalling 13th victory in the series. The race was marked by significant drama, including two red flags and a safety car, with reigning champion Pascal Wehrlein involved in a frightening crash that left his Porsche upside down, though he was unhurt. Evans, who suffered from a powertrain issue preventing him from qualifying, utilized strategic Attack Mode deployment to climb rapidly through the field. Antonio Felix da Costa finished second, while McLaren’s Taylor Barnard, who became the youngest podium finisher at 20 years old, took third. Evans' victory was particularly sweet as he had narrowly lost last season’s Sao Paulo race on the final lap. The next Formula E round is scheduled for January 11 in Mexico City.
