Axl Rose Settles Sexual Assault Lawsuit with Sheila Kennedy

Axl Rose has settled a sexual assault lawsuit filed by former model Sheila Kennedy, who accused him of assaulting her in a Manhattan hotel room in 1989. Despite the settlement, Rose maintains his innocence, stating, "As I have from the beginning, I deny the allegations. There was no assault." The lawsuit, filed in November 2023 under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, claimed that Kennedy experienced both consensual and non-consensual interactions with Rose. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed, but both parties agreed to discontinue the case with prejudice, meaning it cannot be refiled. Rose's lawyer stated that he has suffered greatly from the lawsuit and is now able to move on with his life. Attempts to reach Kennedy for comment have been unsuccessful.
