Tony Franklin Named Louisiana Tech Offensive Coordinator

Seth Doege, a former Texas Tech quarterback, has been appointed as the new offensive coordinator for the Arizona Wildcats after serving as Marshall's offensive coordinator, where the team had a successful 10-3 season but ranked 71st nationally in total offense. Doege's coaching career includes stints at Purdue, Southern California, and Bowling Green, and he is known for leading the Red Raiders to significant upsets during his playing days. Meanwhile, Louisiana Tech has hired Tony Franklin as its offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, marking his return to the program after a previous tenure from 2010-2012. Franklin boasts over 40 years of coaching experience, including notable success at Army Sprint Football, where he averaged 42.5 points per game. His prior experience includes significant accomplishments at Middle Tennessee, where he guided multiple players to school records. Both coaches are expected to bring their expertise to improve their respective offenses.
