Football Players Shine with Weekly Honors

The recent football week saw standout performances across different levels. In high school football, Whitehouse quarterback Jojo Adams excelled with 416 yards, while All Saints linebacker Jackson Daniels led his team to a five-overtime win with 11 tackles and three sacks. Estevan Sandoval from Chapel Hill scored all extra points and a field goal in a win. Florida Gators' Jadan Baugh was named Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Week after tying the program record with five touchdowns in his first start. In college football, Tennessee's Dylan Sampson and Cooper Mays received SEC honors for their performance against Alabama, and Michigan State's Jonathan Kim and Nick Marsh were recognized for their performances against Iowa. South Carolina's Nick Emmanwori and Tonka Hemingway were named SEC co-Defensive Players of the Week for their roles in the win over Oklahoma.
