Texas A&M Falls to LSU in SEC Baseball Quarterfinals

Texas A&M advanced to the SEC Tournament quarterfinals with a 3-2 win over Auburn, powered by Kaeden Kent's three-run homer, but lost star outfielder Jace LaViolette to a fractured hand during the game. Despite LaViolette's return as a designated hitter, Texas A&M was eliminated in the quarterfinals by LSU, who claimed a 4-3 win after jumping to an early lead behind starter Kade Anderson's 12 strikeouts and Anthony Eyanson's relief pitching.
