Shaun the Sheep Movie Set for 2026 Release

Aardman has announced the stop-motion feature film 'Shaun The Sheep: The Beast Of Mossy Bottom,' set for release in 2026 in partnership with Sky and StudioCanal. The movie, written by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow and directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, will be the third in the Shaun the Sheep franchise. The story centers on Halloween at Mossy Bottom Farm, where the flock's pumpkin patch is destroyed, leading Shaun into a science-fueled adventure involving a missing farmer and a mysterious beast. StudioCanal will launch international sales at Cannes, while Sky will distribute the film in UK cinemas and on Sky Cinema. Shaun the Sheep remains one of Aardman's most successful properties, broadcast in 170 territories and with a strong awards history. The announcement follows Aardman's recent BAFTA wins for their Wallace & Gromit feature.
