Preston North End Signs Canadian Striker Jebbison on Loan from Bournemouth

Daniel Jebbison, the 21-year-old Canadian striker, has joined Preston North End on a season-long loan from AFC Bournemouth, with no obligation to buy. This marks Jebbison's second loan spell in the Championship, having previously been at Watford, although his time there was less successful. He reunites with manager Paul Heckingbottom, who previously coached him at Sheffield United and has expressed strong belief in Jebbison's potential. Jebbison scored three goals for Bournemouth last season, including two in the FA Cup and one Premier League goal, and has recently made his international debut for Canada, currently representing them in the Gold Cup. Preston have made Jebbison their fifth signing this summer and are still seeking additional players, including a striker and central defender. The club is also managing potential departures and exploring both permanent and loan options to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.
