Atlanta Dream Dismiss Coach Tanisha Wright

The Atlanta Dream have parted ways with head coach Tanisha Wright after three seasons. Wright, who led the team to a 15-25 record this season and a playoff appearance, was relieved of her duties following consecutive first-round playoff exits. Despite her efforts in rebuilding the team and achieving some milestones, such as selling out season tickets and key games, the Dream believe a change is necessary to advance further in the WNBA. Wright's tenure ended with a 48-68 record, and she was previously an assistant coach with the Las Vegas Aces. This decision makes her the third WNBA coach to be dismissed in recent weeks, following Curt Miller and Teresa Weatherspoon.
