The Odisha government is set to host a two-day investors' conference and roadshow in Mumbai on October 18 and 19, aiming to attract significant investments ahead of the 'Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha' Conclave in January 2025. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will participate in the event, engaging with over 300 industrial leaders from various sectors, including textiles, chemicals, and renewable energy. The event coincides with the India Chem program, where discussions on investment opportunities in key ports like Paradip, Gopalpur, and Dhamra will take place. Additionally, a task force has been established to expedite the development of a mega steel plant in Keonjhar district, addressing past delays in project implementation. This initiative reflects the state government's commitment to fostering a robust industrial ecosystem and enhancing job opportunities for locals.
