Two Arrested in Major Meth Trafficking Bust
Two Los Angeles residents, Natasha Garner and Goldie Flenor, were arrested in Evansville, Indiana, after authorities discovered approximately 40 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in Cheetos bags at a local post office. The packages, flagged as suspicious, were sent to a home on Ridgeway Avenue, where police conducted a surveillance operation. Upon retrieval of the packages by Garner and Flenor, the suspects attempted to flee in a white van and subsequently collided with a Vanderburgh County Sheriff's SUV. Both individuals were charged with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and are being held at the Henderson Detention Center in Kentucky. This incident highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to intercept narcotics trafficking through postal services. In a separate case, Shantel Rene Simmons was arrested in Jackson County, Kansas, for meth possession following a traffic stop.
