Firstsource Solutions Limited has acquired Ascensos, a UK-based customer experience outsourcing partner, for £42 million, enhancing its capabilities in the retail and eCommerce sectors. Dr. Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman of the RPSG Group, highlighted that this acquisition aligns with Firstsource's strategic growth objectives and opens new opportunities in the $28 billion global retail BPO market. Ascensos will operate as a separate unit under Firstsource, retaining its brand and leadership, with CEO John Devlin ensuring continuity for existing clients.
