Robert Griffin III Poised to Join Fox Sports
Robert Griffin III, former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL quarterback, is expected to join Fox Sports as its No. 2 college football game analyst, replacing Brock Huard, who left to coach his son's high school team. Griffin will reportedly partner with play-by-play announcer Jason Benetti, primarily covering college football games with the possibility of occasional studio appearances. The anticipated hiring comes as Fox looks to strengthen its college football lineup ahead of the 2025 NFL draft. Griffin, who had prior broadcasting roles at ESPN and guest appearances on other networks, was previously considered by Fox during a contract dispute with Reggie Bush. No contract has yet been signed, but the deal is expected to be finalized soon. Griffin's move to Fox follows his departure from ESPN eight months ago amid network layoffs.
