Matty Matheson Announces Hardcore Band Pig Pen, Debut Show April 25

Matty Matheson, the Canadian chef and actor from FX's The Bear, has announced the formation of his new hardcore band, Pig Pen. The band, which features notable musicians including Wade MacNeil from Alexisonfire, Daniel Romano, Ian Ski Romano, and Tommy Major, aims to reconnect with Matheson's roots in heavy music. They will debut live on April 25 at Sneaky Dee's in Toronto, with tickets already sold out. Matheson shared that the band originated from a casual gathering where friends wrote and recorded ten songs over two days. Although Pig Pen has yet to release any music officially, a teaser clip has been shared to generate excitement. This venture marks another chapter in Matheson's diverse career, which includes culinary achievements and television appearances.
