Man Shot Dead in Northwest Phoenix

A shooting late Wednesday night in a north Phoenix apartment complex left 26-year-old Marcos Antonio Daniel-Eby dead from a gunshot wound near 19th Avenue and Cholla Street. Phoenix Police responded to the scene and found Daniel-Eby deceased, while another man at the scene claimed involvement but has been released pending further investigation. The case remains under investigation with homicide detectives leading the effort, and results will be forwarded to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. The area around the crime scene has been cordoned off as detectives continue to gather evidence. Residents are advised to avoid the area, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Arizona's Silent Witness program. No additional suspect information has been disclosed yet.
