The congressman expressed concerns about whether Musk's drug use influenced his decisions in leading the Department of Government Efficiency, where Musk implemented drastic changes including mass layoffs and restructuring federal agencies. Despite Musk's denial of these allegations, Lynch emphasized the public's right to know if Musk was under the influence while executing his government duties.
