Arms seized in Manipur

In a series of operations aimed at restoring peace in Manipur, the Assam Rifles and Manipur Police have seized significant caches of arms and ammunition across various districts. The Assam Rifles recovered 15 improvised explosive devices and 42 country-made grenades in Tengnoupal district, while the Manipur Police found locally made mortars and ammunition in Churachandpur. These operations are part of a broader strategy to enhance security and ensure safe movement for vehicles along sensitive routes, with 113 checkpoints established throughout the region.
