Two Dead in Thornton Arson and Homicide
In Thornton, Colorado, two individuals were discovered dead with gunshot wounds in a house fire on the 16300 block of Columbine Street late Wednesday night. The victims, identified as a 58-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man, were found by police and firefighters who responded to the incident shortly after 11:15 p.m. Investigations revealed that the fire was intentionally set, suggesting a possible case of arson and homicide. The fire was contained before midnight, and there is no ongoing threat to the community. The Adams County Coroner's Office will release the identities and causes of death after notifying the next of kin. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Thornton Police Department.
