Child killed by bounce house

A tragic incident at a Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball game in Waldorf, Maryland, resulted in the death of a 5-year-old boy and injuries to another child when a wind gust lifted a bounce house approximately 15 to 20 feet into the air. The accident occurred around 9:21 p.m. on Friday during the game, with multiple children inside the bounce house at the time. Emergency responders, already present at the stadium, provided immediate care, but the boy was later pronounced dead at a hospital, while the second child sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
