Peter Kay Returns to TV in New Wallace and Gromit Film

Peter Kay is set to make his highly anticipated return to television this Christmas by voicing Chief Inspector Macintosh in the new Wallace and Gromit film, Vengeance Most Fowl. The film, marking the duo's first screen appearance in 16 years, revolves around a crime wave of stolen garden items with Wallace and his smart gnome, Norbot, as prime suspects. Kay's comeback follows a lengthy hiatus from the public eye, during which he cancelled a planned tour in 2017 due to personal reasons and largely retreated from the spotlight. His recent resurgence includes a schedule of 110 live shows set for 2023-2025, with 40 performances at Manchester's AO Arena. In addition to Kay, the film features notable cameos from actors like Diane Morgan and Lenny Henry, and brings back the villain Feathers McGraw.
