Giuffre Memoir, Emails Intensify Pressure on Prince Andrew

Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl, published this week, recounts allegations of sexual abuse and trafficking by Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and alleges three sexual encounters with Prince Andrew, whom she says was told she was 17; Giuffre died by suicide in April. Prince Andrew denies the claims. Newly revealed emails and reporting suggest Andrew stayed in contact with Epstein into 2011, contradicting his 2019 Newsnight statement that he cut ties in December 2010, prompting broadcaster Emily Maitlis and others to say he lied.
