Max Verstappen Calls for RB21 Design Changes

Red Bull Racing is gearing up for the 2025 Formula 1 season with significant developments on its new car, the RB21, which aims to provide a wider working window for driver Max Verstappen. Despite a challenging 2024 season where Verstappen won only twice in the final 14 races, Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko assures that the new design addresses previous issues, particularly its performance on kerbs. Verstappen has also expressed a desire for a more vibrant car livery, moving away from the recent matte blue finish, a change he hopes to see when the RB21 is unveiled on February 18, 2025. Meanwhile, the team prepares for the impact of Adrian Newey's departure, with technical director Pierre Wache leading the design efforts. Verstappen hinted at potential rule-breaking among rivals last season, but Red Bull's focus remains on improving competitiveness without Newey's influence. The team has also confirmed Liam Lawson will replace Sergio Perez for the upcoming season.
