Lola Young Collapses, Cancels D.C. Appearance

British singer-songwriter Lola Young, 24, collapsed mid‑set on Sept. 27 while performing "Conceited" at the All Things Go Music Festival at Forest Hills Stadium in New York and was carried offstage by medical staff. Fellow performers Remi Wolf and Doechii reassured the crowd that Young was backstage and okay, and fan-shot footage showed she appeared faint before falling and was helped by crew; the remainder of her set was canceled. Within an hour she posted on Instagram saying she was "doing OK." She later canceled a planned All Things Go Washington, D.C. appearance, apologizing to fans and asking critics to "give me a day off." The incident followed her withdrawal from Audacy’s We Can Survive concert the previous night for a "sensitive matter," which her manager said can be a protective measure because she has been open about her mental health. Young has previously spoken publicly about struggles with sobriety and entering rehab last year, and no detailed medical cause for the collapse has been disclosed.
