Two Homeless Men Shot Dead Near Compton Creek Long Beach

Two homeless men were found shot to death near Compton Creek and the 710 Freeway in North Long Beach on Wednesday evening. Police and fire department personnel arrived at the scene around 8:36 p.m. and confirmed both men had gunshot wounds to their upper bodies and were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the men have not been released pending next-of-kin notifications by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
