Two Charged With Murder of Missing Queensland Teen Pheobe Bishop

Queensland police have charged a 34-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman with the murder of 17-year-old Pheobe Bishop, who has been missing since May 15. Both have also been charged with two counts of interfering with a corpse. Pheobe was last seen near Bundaberg airport and never boarded her scheduled flight to Western Australia, with CCTV footage showing she never entered the terminal. Despite multiple searches of Good Night Scrub National Park and forensic examinations of a Gin Gin property and vehicle, her remains have yet to be found. Police have suspended physical searches but will resume them as new information emerges. The accused are due to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court, while Pheobe's mother has made an emotional public appeal for information to help recover her daughter's remains and bring her peace.
