San Jose Police Arrest 2 Women in Brothel Operation

Two women, Tien Tran, 46, and Bili Ruan, 50, were arrested in San Jose on charges of operating brothels after a three-month investigation. Police executed search warrants on March 28 at multiple locations, including commercial properties on Willow Street, Tully Road, and North Jackson Avenue, and a residential address on Bagely Way. Ruan was apprehended at the Willow Street location, while Tran was arrested later on April 2; both face charges of pimping. During the operation, authorities seized approximately $25,000 in cash along with designer handbags and jewelry valued over $200,000. Additionally, three suspected sex workers were contacted during the raids and provided with support services. The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are encouraging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
