Teens Charged in Framing Teacher as Predator

Two teenage girls from Central Lafourche High School in Louisiana have been charged with fabricating inappropriate messages to frame a male teacher as a sexual predator. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office began an investigation on December 18, 2024, after receiving reports of alleged misconduct by the teacher. Detectives discovered that the 15- and 16-year-old students had created fake accounts and messages on an online platform to make it appear the teacher was involved in illicit conversations. The investigation cleared the teacher of all wrongdoing and identified him as the victim. Both girls have been charged with false swearing, cyberstalking, and online impersonation, and have been placed on electronic monitoring.
