Callaway and its Odyssey brand have launched a limited-edition hockey stick putter and themed golf balls inspired by the upcoming Netflix release, Happy Gilmore 2, which premieres July 25. The putter, retailing for $499.99, is an updated version of the one wielded by Adam Sandler’s character and appears in the sequel, but it does not conform to official golf rules, making it a collector’s item. The golf balls, sold for $59.99 per dozen, feature iconic movie imagery and quotes such as 'Just tap it in' and 'It’s all in the hips.' This merchandise release coincides with a shift in golf culture toward greater inclusivity and casual play, themes reflected both in the new film and the collaboration.
