Former Miss Scotland Convicted of Assault, Racial Abuse at Rugby Event

Lucy Thomson, a former Miss Scotland, was convicted of assault and racial abuse after a drunken incident at the Edinburgh City 7s rugby tournament in June 2023. During the event, she bit security guard Andrew Okpaje and directed racial slurs at him while being escorted from the premises.
