Multiple US, Canada Sites Open New Pickleball Courts Expanding Access

Pickleball continues to grow rapidly across the United States and Canada, with several new outdoor facilities opening to meet increasing demand. In Prince Edward County, Canada, Fairgrounds announced a seasonal location at Base31 featuring four outdoor pickleball courts aimed at fostering community and wellness. Oklahoma City introduced the Thurman Family Pickleball Center with eight covered courts designed for players of all skill levels, offering lessons and league play. Foxborough, Massachusetts, opened a six-court outdoor pickleball facility at Patriot Place shopping center, providing open play and special events through the season. Stamford, Texas, added a new pickleball court at Harmon Park, a community-driven project addressing local needs and promoting quality-of-life improvements despite budget challenges. Salt Lake City unveiled 12 new pickleball courts at Glendale Park, a result of extensive community engagement and part of a broader citywide effort to expand access, particularly in westside neighborhoods, highlighting pickleball's role in building community and connection.
