Fast-Casual Restaurant Opens in Ferndale

Four Man Ladder Hospitality, known for its acclaimed Grey Ghost restaurant in Detroit, is launching its first fast-casual dining establishment this summer in Ferndale. The new venue, located at 22305 Woodward Avenue, will emphasize the popular Grey Ghost burger, alongside a chicken sandwich and sides, catering primarily to takeout customers. Chef and co-owner John Vermiglio expressed excitement about transitioning their beloved burger into a quick-service format while introducing additional menu items. The restaurant, yet to be named, will be approximately 1,000 square feet and is envisioned as the first of multiple locations. Construction is set to begin soon, with more details about the menu and grand opening to be announced later. Four Man Ladder also operates Second Best bar and Basan restaurant in Detroit.
