Comcast RISE Awards $3 Million to 500 Small Businesses Nationwide

Comcast is expanding its RISE program to support small businesses in five regions, including Grand Rapids, Muskegon, King County, Nashville, and Boston, offering comprehensive grant packages worth up to $30,000 per business. Eligible businesses can apply between May 1 and May 31 for packages that include $5,000 in cash, technology upgrades, creative production, educational resources, and business consulting. This initiative aims to empower local entrepreneurs and address ongoing challenges such as inflation, which 58% of small business owners cite as a primary concern. Comcast has already supported over 14,000 businesses since the program's inception in 2020, and winners will be announced in August. Local information sessions will be held to guide applicants through the process. Comcast's commitment to uplifting small businesses comes as many continue to recover from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
