Two Fatal Hit-and-Run Crashes Kill Pedestrians in Maryland

Two separate fatal hit-and-run incidents have recently occurred in Maryland. In Seat Pleasant, Antone Brooks was struck by two eastbound vehicles on Central Avenue, with one possibly being a white compact sedan; both drivers fled the scene, and Brooks died after being hospitalized. Meanwhile, in West Baltimore, a 26-year-old man was found trapped inside a vehicle after a crash on North Carey Street; emergency responders freed him, but he later died in the hospital. The driver fled on foot and remains at large. Police in both cases are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward, offering anonymity through Metro Crime Stoppers.
