Marvel's Wolverine Revealed, First in X‑Men Trilogy

Insomniac Games and Sony unveiled the first gameplay trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine during a PlayStation State of Play, confirming it as a standalone, single-player PS5 exclusive targeting a Fall/late 2026 release. The trailer establishes a dark, mature (17+) tone built around brutal, visceral claw combat and explicit blood mechanics, with set pieces across Madripoor, the Canadian wilderness and Tokyo. It teases appearances from X‑Men figures including Mystique and Omega Red, Reavers and a Sentinel prototype that suggests large-scale boss encounters.
