Hong Kong Launches Largest Panda Sculpture Exhibition

Hong Kong is set to launch the 'PANDA GO! Fest Hong Kong,' featuring 2,500 giant panda sculptures displayed at various iconic locations throughout the city, starting December 7. This exhibition, organized by AllRightsReserved (ARR), aims to celebrate the recent birth of panda twins at Ocean Park, which has heightened local enthusiasm for pandas. The sculptures, designed in eight unique styles and inspired by the resident pandas, will be showcased at the Avenue of Stars, Ngong Ping 360, and Ocean Park, culminating in a free exhibition at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Park. Officials hope the initiative will attract tourists and revitalize the local economy, dubbing it the 'panda economy.' Several renowned figures, including Pharrell Williams, have also contributed special-edition sculptures for charity. The event reflects Hong Kong's strategy to leverage its panda population to enhance tourism and cultural engagement.
