A$AP Rocky Trial Rescheduled to 2025

A$AP Rocky's trial for two felony charges of assault with a semi-automatic firearm has been rescheduled to January 21, 2025, after a conflict with his performance at Rolling Loud Thailand. The rapper, accused of shooting former friend A$AP Relli during a dispute in November 2021, maintains his innocence and faces up to 24 years in prison if convicted. Relli claims that Rocky pointed a gun at him and shot him multiple times, with evidence including surveillance footage and audio of gunshots presented in court. Rocky's attorney, Joe Tacopina, expressed confidence in his client’s eventual vindication and noted that the delays were partly due to holiday schedules and discovery issues. The case is complicated by Rocky's personal life, as he shares two children with Rihanna, who is supportive of him during the proceedings. This trial follows Rocky's previous legal troubles, including a 2019 assault conviction in Sweden.
