Haaland Hits 300 as Man City Rout Juventus
Erling Haaland reached his 300th career goal in just 370 appearances, surpassing the pace of legends Messi, Ronaldo, and Mbappé, as Manchester City defeated Juventus 5-2 at the FIFA Club World Cup in Orlando. The victory, achieved amid challenging weather, included goals from Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden, Savinho, and an own goal by Juventus’ Pierre Kalulu. Ballon d’Or winner Rodri returned from an ACL injury and contributed to City’s commanding performance. Manchester City finished top of their group with a perfect record and will remain based in Florida for the upcoming knockout matches. The win marks a strong resurgence for City after a disappointing previous season and cements their status as Club World Cup favorites. Manager Pep Guardiola praised both Haaland’s milestone and the team's renewed ambitions.
