Sundance Head Recovering from Accidental Shooting

Country singer Sundance Head, winner of season 11 of 'The Voice', is recovering at home after accidentally shooting himself in the stomach during a hunting trip at his East Texas ranch. The incident occurred when he reached for his .22 caliber pistol, which fell from its holster and discharged while hitting the vehicle. Head was airlifted to a hospital in Tyler, Texas, where it was confirmed that the bullet lodged above his navel without hitting vital organs, thus avoiding the need for surgery. His wife, Misty, provided updates on social media, expressing gratitude for the support and detailing the accident's circumstances. She also mentioned that Head walked down the road to flag down help after realizing he didn’t have his phone. After being released from the hospital late Friday, Head is now recuperating at home, where he plans to share his experience in his own words once he feels better.
